Free Wyoming Driver’s Handbook Practice Test (2025)

  • Perfect for learner’s permit, driver’s license, and Senior Refresher Test
  • Based on official Wyoming Driver's manual
  • Triple-checked for accuracy
  • Updated for July 2025

Teen aspiring drivers in Wyoming must complete the Graduated Driver’s Licensing (GDL) program to get a driver’s license. Applicants aged 15 and older must obtain a learner’s permit by passing a vision screening and a written knowledge test. They must hold this permit for at least 10 days and complete 50 hours of supervised driving, including 10 at night. Applicants under 18 years of age must also have a release signed by a legal parent or guardian. At age 16, teens can upgrade to an intermediate license by passing a road skills test.

The skills test may be waived for those who provide proof of completing an approved driver education course that includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. The intermediate license has several restrictions, including limits on nighttime driving. At age 17 (or 16½ with a driver education course and six months of driving experience with an intermediate license), teens can obtain a full driver’s license.

Adult applicants do not go through the GDL. They must provide identification documents, pay the licensing fees, complete a vision screening, and pass the official written knowledge exam. If they haven’t completed a driver education course, aspiring drivers aged 18 or older must also pass the road skills test.

Our Wyoming Driver’s Handbook Practice Test can help you ace the official written knowledge exam on your first attempt. Consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions, this intuitive tool can significantly boost your learning potential. Use it alongside the official Wyoming Rules of the Road Manual (Wyoming DOT Handbook (WY Driver's Manual) 2025), and watch your knowledge gradually improve over time.

Train anytime, anywhere, as often as your schedule allows. You get unlimited attempts and 24/7 access to train whenever it’s convenient for you. All you need is a compatible device with a stable internet connection. As you begin your learning phase, please remember that driving is a lifelong skill that cannot be improved overnight. Avoid rushing and master driving theory at your own pace. Becoming a safe and responsible driver takes time and effort, but our practice tests can make it easier for you to build confidence and improve your knowledge.
