Free Online DMV Written Test Practice for Nevada (2025)
Are you tired of asking others for a lift? Are you tired of Lyft (and Uber)? Wouldn’t you rather drive yourself to work in Nevada’s vast entertainment and hotel complex (I-15, I-80, and U.S. 95)? Or in the mining and natural resources sector (I-80, U.S. 50, and U.S. 93)? Or in the agriculture and ranching sector (I-80, U.S. 50, and U.S. 95)? And in your free time, exploring the beauty and adventure of Nevada’s scenic byways and scenic drives? To realize these (and many other) dreams, you’ll need a driver’s license.
To get a license, however, there are a lot of steps you must complete. To be allowed to practice driving, you must obtain an instruction permit. A crucial requirement for a permit is to pass the Nevada DMV written knowledge test. The answers to all 25 questions on the knowledge test can be found in the official driver’s manual (Nevada DMV Handbook (NV Driver's Manual) 2025), so you should read it. But if that’s all you do to prepare for the knowledge test, there’s a real chance you may fail it. (In 2020 – 2023, about 47.2% – nearly half –of applicants failed the Nevada knowledge test on their first try.)
If you’ve already started taking our practice tests to help prepare for the official knowledge test, that’s great! You’re on your way to a license. If you haven’t started yet, make today the day you stop dreaming and start doing.
