Free MI CDL School Bus Practice Test 2025

  • Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
  • Based on 2025 MI commercial driver's license manual
  • Triple-checked for accuracy
  • Updated for September 2025

Driving in Michigan is a unique experience shaped by the state’s diverse geography. From the bustling streets of Detroit to scenic rural routes along the Great Lakes, drivers encounter a wide range of landscapes. However, Michigan’s driving conditions can be challenging, especially during the winter months. Snow and ice make the roads dangerous and drivers need to be alert. Whether commuting in a major city or exploring the state’s natural beauty, driving in Michigan is both an adventure and a necessity.

Up to 75.3% of workers in Michigan commute by driving a personal vehicle. While some are parents who also take their children to school, most students rely on school buses. Local school districts hire skilled drivers to operate their fleets of school buses. If you want to become one yourself, you must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a School Bus (S) endorsement, and if the school bus you intend to drive is designed to carry 16 or more occupants (including yourself), you’ll also need a Passenger Vehicles (P) endorsement. Both can be obtained after passing their respective knowledge tests, as well as a skills test in a school bus.

We will help you pass the CDL School Bus knowledge test in Michigan, which is often a tough challenge for aspiring commercial drivers. Our CDL School Bus practice tests feature 20 questions based on the official 2025 CDL manual. Updated for September 2025, these practice tests closely reflect the official written exam. We know how annoying a timer can be, especially when you’re feeling pressured by the clock running out. Although the official knowledge exam has a time limit, we don’t have one on our free Michigan CDL school bus practice tests. You can take as long as you need to read and understand each question. Only submit an answer when you are confident in your choice.

Most aspiring school bus drivers are not aware of the content and format of the written exam. Training with our practice tests gives you an advantage, significantly boosting your chances of passing on your first try. We recommend incorporating these practice tests into your daily routine. With repetition, you’ll be able to understand all questions and memorize the correct answers.
