IN CDL Double/Triple Trailers Practice Test 2 2025
- Perfect for first-time and renewal CDL/CLP applicants, and those adding endorsements
- Based on 2025 IN commercial driver's license manual
- Triple-checked for accuracy
- Updated for September 2025
With a Class A CDL, you are eligible to take an incredible step in your career by adding a Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement to your license, allowing you to legally operate double and triple trailer combinations. But the real reason you should want to add this endorsement is the higher-demand, higher-paying jobs that can come with it. To earn this endorsement, you must pass Indiana’s Doubles/Triples Knowledge Test, which is based on Section 7 of the official Indiana Commercial Driver’s License Manual. The test consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, and you must correctly answer at least 16 (80%) to pass. You’ll have to wait at least one business day to retest if you fail the exam, and extra fees are assessed if you exceed three attempts.
The good news is that we’re here to help you pass on your first try. Our Free Indiana CDL Double/Triple Trailers Endorsement (T) Practice Tests are designed in the same format as the actual BMV exam and include real-time feedback, hints, and AI-powered study tools. You can likely find standard study guides online; however, these pale in comparison to the scientifically researched features in our practice quizzes, proven to help you retain information faster and more effectively.
Our practice questions are based directly on Indiana’s CDL Manual and cover preventing “crack-the-whip” rollovers, coupling and uncoupling multiple trailers, avoiding jackknives and trailer rollovers, proper braking techniques with air brakes, and inspection procedures. All of these categories may be addressed on the official test, and we have you absolutely covered with our preparatory materials.
From major hubs in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville to rural highways connecting Indiana’s farms and factories, drivers with a T Endorsement are in high demand. Employers like FedEx Freight, XPO Logistics, and Ruan Transportation regularly hire T-certified Indiana drivers.
To operate these trailer combinations (and remove the “L” or “Z” restriction from your CDL), you must also pass the Air Brakes Exam and take the skills test in a vehicle equipped with air brakes. You should also consider earning additional endorsements such as N (Tank Vehicles), H (Hazardous Materials), X (Tank plus Hazmat Combo), P (Passenger), and S (School Bus Driver). We offer Indiana-specific practice tests for each one.
Use our Indiana CDL Doubles/Triples Practice Tests, pass the official knowledge test, and immediately advance your driving career to higher levels!
